Mill City Museum

An attraction for all ages, Mill City Museum chronicles the flour milling industry that dominated world flour production for roughly a half-century and fueled the growth of Minneapolis, recognized across the nation and around the world as “Mill City.”

Mill City Farmers Market

The Mill City Farmers Market started in June, 2006. Their mission is to offer experiential learning about and access to healthy local foods, and build a vibrant gathering place for Minneapolis residents and visitors. It features locally grown organic products by local vendors. The Market is open on Saturdays from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm, May 9 through Oct. 18.

Former Partner: Minnesota Youth Community Learning (MYCL) Initiative at the Konopka Institute for Best Practices in Adolescent Health, University of Minnesota

The Minnesota Youth Community Learning (MYCL) Initiative, funded by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, partners Konopka Institute staff at the University of Minnesota and seven Minnesota community coalitions. Their collaboration re-engages students who are disconnected from learning and school through skill-based mentoring, parental support education and assistance, fostering school connectedness, and community capacity building.
